  2. I’ll be celebrating by coordinating my 2nd grader’s school party this year. If I survive that, then maybe a heart shaped pizza and some sparkling grape juice at home with my husband and 3 boys.

    After work, I will spend V-day with my husband. I’m not sure if we will go out for dinner or just make a homemade meal.

  7. I will be doing Valentine’s Day themed activities all day with my kiddos at work, and then either go out to dinner or buy heart-shaped ravioli from the Italian specialty store nearby and have dinner at home with my hubby and kids.

How I’m going to celebrate .. well my daughter is officially old enough to ‘celebrate’ (I think) BUT baby #2 is due VERY close to V-day so … I think we’ll play it each day at a time but prob take my daughter to her first restaurant that has games or something for her to play with so it’s all about her (before her world changes completely)

    as for how im celebrating valentines day…. my boyfriend and i will be busy moving into our new apartment! (and then leaving for paris the next day…)

  12. The Expressive Language pack looks so inviting! Every Valentine’s Day I plan a fun day for my 2 girls (10 and 6). This year the fun will happen after school is out..and will include a scavenger hunt, yummy surprises, and a Valentine’s themed dinner from apps to dessert. I also plan something special for my husband. Just love Valentine’s Day! My little peeps in school also get a special surprise..and of course a themed prized box for the first few weeks of February!

  13. Great packets! I would love the expressive language one. I will celebrate Valentine’s Day with my students playing a fun game (maybe a choice day) and giving them a sweet treat, then home to my husband and sons (dinner and red velvet cupcakes).

    As for my Valentine’s plans? Therapy as I do believe it is a school day. My husband and I rarely do anything for Valentine’s day as his birthday is just a couple weeks beforehand and our first date anniversary is a few days before. We usually go big for those instead.

Every Valentine’s Day my students come in and work hard for the first 20 minutes of the session, and for the remaining 10 we have a “speech party social.” I bring in special treats to snack on, and we all practice our social skills by initiating conversations with various topics, commenting and asking questions appropriately, and using transitions into new topics. My students love it (and so do I!) At night I’m making my husband’s favorite dinner and we are going to rent a movie. Looking forward to it all!

  17. I’m working that day so I will definitely be doing therapy, not sure what the plans are with my hubby yet but hopefully something yummy for dinner that someone else has cooked 🙂 Great giveaway!

  18. I will be doing fun Valentine activities with my speech students. There are so many activities I saw on TPT that I plan to do with my students! I am also planning on spending a nice evening with my hubby and my 2 year old son!

  19. I will be working with students during the day; hoping to utilize some exciting holiday related activities! I’ll be relaxing at dinner with my fiance at night. Thank you for the opportunity to win some great material!

  20. We’re using conversation heart candy and games in therapy on V-day for some festive fun. Kids love being able to eat candy throughout the session. My preschoolers will be learning about Froggy’s First Kiss.

    As for that evening, I’ll be hoping my husband brings home flowers and then just spending a nice evening at home.

  21. I will spend Valentines day doing many valentines day activities in therapy and then a quiet evening at home with my daughter and a glass of wine…or two…

  22. I will be celebrating with my speech kiddos with some fun valentine themed games (candy included!) then I will be in my graduate language disorders in adults class during the evening!
