This is part of the amazing Social Thinking curriculum created by Michelle Garcia Winner. It provides a more concrete way for students with pragmatic difficulties to begin to learn the skills they need to communicate socially through their day.

 

2. Let’s Be Social App

This is a new app by Everyday Speech.  This app have 25 pre-programmed lessons with a applicable stories and quizzes for students. The really like the ability to create your own lessons so I can zero in on a particular skill.  I will have a review of this app next week so make sure you check it out!

 

3. Julia Cook Books

These books have clever titles, great illustrations, and cover lots a topics that my students with pragmatics issues struggles with. Topics like interrupting, taking turns, personal space and more.  They are great to read and then discuss with your students. 

 

4. TpT Materials

Build a Burger Social Skills

There are a CRAZY amount of AMAZING social skills materials on TpT!  I have some social skills activities at my store, but I also like to check out Super Power Speech, Speech Room News, Sublime Speech and more for activities. They are definitely worth perusing.
