The final activity in my Circus Series, Social Skills Circus, is done! Here are some pictures and descriptions. Stop by my store on TpT to add this 72 card activity to your pragmatic tool box 🙂
The first activity, Things Look Different Up Here, has 18 cards focuses on perspective taking, which we know can be quite difficult. Each card has a school related situation on it. Students read the situation and then attempt to determine how others may perceive the behavior.
The next activity is Now You See It, Now You Don’t. This 18 card activity focuses on social problem solving. Each card has a problem on it and the student must create a way to solve it. There are magic rabbit cards that give you an extra turn 🙂
Opening Act has 18 conversation starter cards to work on initiating conversations with peers.
Finally, there is Add Another Clown to the Car. This 18 card activity helps students work on joining and carrying on conversations. Each card has part of a conversation on it. The student picks up the conversation from where it stops on the card and continues it as if they were jumping into a conversation with peers in the classroom. Watch out for pie cards that cause you to lose a turn.
