I have gotten a lot of emails asking about listening comprehension screenings for junior high. Don’t worry, I was listening! Introducing Listening Comprehension Screenings for Grades 6-8!!! These screenings are in the same format as my screenings for K-5. You can find more information about those screenings HERE and the screenings at my TpT store HERE.
There is an example screening form included that contains examples of scoring options. There are also 2 screenings for each grade level to allow for pre-test and post-test opportunities.
Each screening has a short story containing a figurative language phrase, multiple meaning word, and vocabulary word to be identified with context clues. There are corresponding questions associated with a common core standard for that grade level.
