Do your kids love to play HeadBandz or Jeepers Peepers? Do you travel between settings and want to lighten your load a bit.   Recently at a speech meeting in my district, a fellow SLP told me about an app she had been using with her kids called Heads Up.

Heads up is basically like HeadBandz or Jeepers Peepers but it is on the iPad/iPhone and you can customize it!

Just give it a tap and get started. You can select a pre made category or create your own. Students can hold the device up to their heads if they want or just keep it in front of them.  The other students can act out or describe the word on the screen for the student to guess.

I loved this app! The only downside was, no pictures.  So, I would recommend this app for students who have a good grasp on their reading skills. I know that having no pictures is a bummer but does the fact that it is FREE cheer you up a bit? 😉
