Today I wanted to share my newest Halloween activity, Halloween Inferencing!
There are two types of Halloween inferencing cards in this activity: inference description cards and inference costume cards. The inference description cards each contain brief clues for students to use to determine what Halloween character or item is being described.
The inference costume cards have short stories that give clues to the type of costume the character is wearing. Once the story is done, the student must use the clues to infer what type costume the character has on.
There is also a game board for some added fun. It is quite ‘spook’tacular if I do say so myself 🙂
ACTIVITY TIP: After you have finished your game, have students take turns giving clues about their Halloween costumes for other students to infer.
