You may have been noticing SLP bloggers sharing more and more great finds from Zulily for therapy materials.  At first, I had no idea what the heck Zulily was.  I clicked on a link someone shared on Facebook to find out more…and get the super cute game that they shared!

Slide1

Zulily is an e-commerce site, like Amazon, but there is a twist.  Zulily sells items geared toward moms and kids. That means, clothes, toys, even kitchen appliances! They feature new items every day. They find deals through other companies and then work with them to bring down the price. They don’t have stock in a warehouse, so if you don’t get an item when you see it, it will be probably be gone.  Zulily ‘Events’  last 72 hours . . . then they’re gone! New brands and items move in and get their three days on the site, and so on, and so on. You have to sign up for Zulily, but don’t worry it’s free.  Members can get savings of up to 70% off retail prices.

SLPs are loving Zulily because of all the awesome activities and materials for kids.  They do have some awesome items for lots of different age groups, but you have to be prepared to wait a bit to get it.  Your item won’t ship until the ‘Event’ is done.  So if you have stand to wait a few extra days for some great games and toys, then  you will want to check out Zulily…and of course follow the awesome SLP bloggers who share their great finds too!

  1. I have to avoid Zulilly. Not that I want to, but it’s so easy to just CLICK and buy! You’re right, great deals though.

  2. It is very hard to resist purchasing. They have so many things a lot of the time that us SLPs think, ooh, how can I use that in therapy with the kids? I end up spending tons of money before I know what has happened.
