I don’t know about you, but I have quite a few students who have a hard time seeing situations from the point of view of others. So I created my newest activity, Can You See It My Way?
This activity has 27 cards. Each card has a different scenario that your students will need to give two interpretations or perspectives for.
If they get it right, they can keep the card. As students collect cards they can try to create the patterns for each level. The first person to create the pattern wins that level. Once a level has been completed, students can continue collecting cards but try to create the pattern for the next level.
It is similar to Phase 10 if you have ever played it. To see this game in action you watch the video below 🙂

I love the scenarios you have created. This activity is great for perspective taking and flexible thinking. You can have students think of more than one reason for each scenario. Lots of my ASD students can only think of one reason for an action and when asked to think of another, they merely restate the same reason. I can put this activity to good use when I return to my school in a few weeks.
I would use this in conjunctions with the squishy brains, reminding students to be flexible.

I love the scenarios you have come up with. My students typically have an easy time answering this type of question, even though they need to work on this, but I think your questions will challenge them. Great product!
