Over the years we have all picked up a tip here or a trick there. That little piece of information that can help to nudge a student of that plateau of progress and start trending upwards to success. I don’t know about you but sometimes I feel like there are so many tips that I forget about some of them.
So I decided I am going to keep my tips and tricks in a binder for quick reference.
The nice thing about using a binder is that if I read about a technique or tip, I can make a copy or print it out and put it in my binder and mark it on my sheet. This is a bit more organized than going through my books and finding the information. If there is no hard copy of the information I can write it in the table for my to refer back to.
I included a space for the Area such as: artic, language, fluency, etc. There is also a spot for the target: synonyms, initial /k/, easy onset, etc. Then you can write down your information, as well as, any materials you may need. I also put a space for you to jot down any helpful, quick info to remind you of the trick. We all have those students or events that we use as reference for something that worked in the past, this is where that information can go.
You may want to color code your tips ( purple for artic, green for language, etc ) or have a separate sheet for each area.

Thank you so much for creating and sharing this form! I have been wanting to do something like this all year, but haven’t gotten around to doing it. You just helped me cross another thing off my never ending list!!
