I finally got around to sorting through my fun new finds from the Teachers Pay Teachers sale!  But, before I share, I want thank everyone who stopped by my store.  If you bought something or just looked around, THANK YOU! I enjoy making materials and if they can make your day easier and help your kids then I am thrilled. So thank you. Now back to shopping 🙂

Here are some of the new activities I was really excited about:

Autism Awareness Unit by Sasha Hallagan ( aka The Autism Helper, check out her blog )
I had wanted to do something this year at my school to promote Autism awareness but just could not get things organized in time, so this was perfect!  This packet has 42 pages and contains lesson and book recommendations as well as many interactive fact sheets. There is so much this packet to use to get your school involved and raise awareness.

Comprehending and Paraphrasing Expository Texts by Speechy Musings
I have so many students who are progressing with this skill and I needed something to start to challenge them. With 24 cards, organizers, die, and homework sheets this activity will definitely help my kids.

Social Homework For A Year  and Speech and Language Homework For A Year by CC
I always need home activities for my kids. These packets were just what I needed to help me keep my sanity when I am rushing at the end of a session. The homework pages are written for a week, which also makes it easier for my Speech moms and dads. Make sure you check out her blog If I Only Had Super Powers for more detailed information about these great packets!

Context Clues Packet Using Tiered Vocabulary  and Curriculum Based Language Assessments for Grades K-5 Aligned with Standard by Nicole Allison the author of Speech Peeps
You can never have to many materials for context clues.  This packet has 63 pages and targets roughly 120 words. Not to mention it has a cute detective theme to get kids in the mind set of looking for ‘clues’. I loved these assessments. For me, they will be a great way to monitor my RtI kids.

Find Us Forever Homes ( Critically Thinking, Analyzing Reading, and Inferring ) by Tracy Tegeler
I have had my eye on this for a while.  Students read an add about a homeless pet in a shelter. As they read they need to pay attention to the details to figure out what type of ‘forever’ home the pet needs. They also need to read about potential families who want to adopt the dogs to see if they would be a good fit.
