No, SpeechBook isn’t some new social media site for SLPs.  SpeechBook is the newest edition to The Speech Bubble store. This social media inspired activity uses QR codes to help engage students and practice  emotional inferencing.

There are 24 cards, each with a status written on it. Students read the status and decide which of the three choices best fits the emotion of the status. After students make a choice they can scan the QR code to confirm their answer.

Students can put their social media skills to use and create their own status that reflects their emotion. Then students can have others guess what emotion their status may reflect. There are different motivational QR codes on each of the 4 pages.

The QR app I use is Scan for iPhone and iPad. It is free so no worries 🙂

To add this activity to your speech tool box stop by my TpT store.
